Anti-spam for 100-10,000 spam/day
SpamAI is a universal POP3 anti-spam filter which runs on the
Windows 2000, XP, 2003, or Vista computer you already own to filter email.
If you get less than 100 spam per day, typical "hands-off" filtering rates of 80-90%
from your email client
reduce your spam to a manageable 10-20 per day.
If you get 1000/day, you really
need to move beyond your email client's built-in filtering and achieve
98-99% precision to reduce your spam to the same manageable level.
Above 10,000
per day, the cpu and internet overhead of a client side solution like SpamAI becomes
noticeable and a server side solution is needed to reduce the flow to client.
All POP3 clients
SpamAI works well with all POP3 clients such as Outlook, Outlook Express,
Microsoft Mail for Vista, Thunderbird, Eudora, TheBat!, Courier, Mozilla, PocoMail,
and other POP3 programs. SpamAI operates between the email program and server so that
SpamAI can even support a mixed email client environment of several different
users at the same time.
SpamAI is compatible with the POP3 options of
Gmail, AOL, Hotmail, Yahoo and other email account
providers. Providers offering web-only interfaces are not
supported.
.
100% spam rejection
SpamAI treats all email according to the principle "guilty until proven innocent". Unless you have specifically indicated you want email on a given subject or from a particular person or company, you will not see the email get into your inbox.
You may preview email in a SpamAI holding tank that immunizes you from malware. The holdtank displays text only and malware simply does not have a chance to affect you. Of course, your email program can open any email you explicitly allow out of the holding tank where the usual cautions still apply.
By simple point and click, you are building rules for what you want to receive automatically in the future. A convenient identity confirmation checkbox tests that email you allow is sent only from the same organization in the future.
SpamAI permits searching all archived messages for four weeks so that inadvertently declined email can still be recovered.
You are in control
SpamAI puts you in control of who is whitelisted.
Once set up, there are a few
minutes of work per day to maintain the list.
SpamAI does not learn; it obeys. You tell it what email to let through and it
does that with precision and predictability.
Flexibility
SpamAI can be configured in a number of ways. For POP3, SpamAI reads email via its
own built-in POP3 client code. The email is then saved on disk. When a user wants
their email, SpamAI delivers it via its own built-in POP3 server code. Thus, SpamAI
can reside on a central server and/or on the user system.

SpamAI offers maximum anti-spam control
by exposing underlying criteria and
offers powerful regular expression match of email fields, a
system to organize rules, and several actions. SpamAI
can extend the anti-spam capabilities of the following and other
pop3 email clients.
Outlook Express exposes underlying criteria and
offers several word match selects on email
fields (subject, to, from, etc.) with several actions.
Thunderbird allows clicking a button per email but no control
over underlying algorithm or criteria.
Eudora 7 allows moving a slider between 0 and 100 but no control
over underlying algorithm or criteria.
Outlook and Microsoft Mail in Vista
offer the least end-user control
over anti-spam by providing filtering based on email addresses.
Address filtering for spam is generally ineffective because
spammers do not send from fixed addresses.
